A sweet fusion of two Southern favorites — soft, cinnamon-spiced rolls swirled with juicy peach cobbler filling, perfect for brunch or dessert.

  • Total Time: 2 hours
  • Yield: 12 rolls 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ¼ tsp instant yeast
  • ¾ cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 4 cups sliced peaches (fresh, canned, or thawed frozen)
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened (for filling)
  • ½ cup brown sugar (for filling)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (for filling)
  • Cream cheese frosting or vanilla glaze (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat until syrupy, then set aside to cool.
  2. In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, sugar, melted butter, and egg. Mix in flour and salt until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for 5–7 minutes, then cover and let rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  4. Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread with softened butter and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Spoon cooled peach mixture evenly across the dough.
  6. Roll into a log and slice into individual rolls. Arrange in a greased baking dish.
  7. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden and puffed up.
  9. Optional: Drizzle with cream cheese frosting or vanilla glaze before serving.

Notes

Pre-cooking the peach filling prevents soggy rolls. For bakery-style results, brush rolls with melted butter before baking.
